Why Did I Move To From The UK To Turkey At The Age Of 51?

Midlife can be a pain in the ass or a portal into us living our deepest desires. Personally I made the choice to walk through the portal that midlife was offering me and made my wildest dreams come true by moving abroad ON MY OWN. I have always known that I would never live in my home town of Maidstone, Kent, UK for the rest of my life and FINALLY, I took a leap of faith in myself and packed up the house that I had lived in for over 20 years, divested myself of all my stuff and moved to Fethiye, in Turkey last year. I've been in Turkey now for just under 10 months and although this move has come with its challenges I absolutely love being here and truly believe that Turkey is a place where I THRIVE.
